Fat Lip has already made itself known around the South West, providing a popular alt-rock night every month in Bristol. As the first year producing a festival line-up, the brand has definitely created something pretty special that is sure to continue to bring in some big names in the rock, punk and alt genres in future endeavours. Already with a diverse selection of bands and a crowd to match, this little festival has plenty of potential to make an even bigger name for itself.
Italian hard rockers round up their six date UK tour in the local music pub in Evesham. Following the release of their fully packed latest album ‘Life-Related Symptoms back in April’, the quartet are eager to see what the UK has to offer. Formed back in 2009, the group have centered around their local areas with their enticing sound, constructed from unifying post-grunge and hard-rock metal: and the result is thrilling.
With Fat Lip already being a popular name in the South West due to the ever growing alt-rock night taking place every month, it is welcoming to see the brand take a new direction with the formation of the all-day festival taking place for the first time on the 29th July 2017. They’ve already secured a diverse lineup of high caliber bands ranging from Young Guns in their well-deserved headliner slot to fresh pop-punkers ROAM and heavier rockers Feed the Rhino; this fest is already shaping up to be a little something for everyone. I take a deeper peek into the full lineup and present some of the ones to be looking out for on the day.
