An unlikely group of high school students find themselves pulled together by the discovery of five mysterious coloured stones that they soon realise contains a great power that has been cast upon them from the previous generation of super warriors. Forced to overcome their personal issues, the teenagers must harness their new strengths and work together in order to save the world from a remerged, alien treat and become the next age of Power Rangers.

Years in the future of the X-Men universe, the existence of mutants is in a substantial decline. Hidden away from the rest of humanity, Logan nurses an indisposed Professor Xavier. Not in good shape himself, the duo are soon interrupted by a gang of hostile individuals, who are on the search for an extraordinary young girl. The girl happens to possess impressive ability and combative powers, similar to Wolverine himself. It’s down to the drained warrior to get the girl away from evil clutches in a live or die sequence of events.

After the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, the future of the group is under scrutiny from media and political standpoints. Due to the consequences of previous actions and the collateral damage caused to humanity, a new governing body takes control of the team; A rift between Captain America (Chris Evans) himself and the industrial billionaire, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) begins to erupt; sides are taken through the whole team, as well as a little help from some outsiders.

The high powers of US government recruits an assembly of infamous antiheroes in order to protect, succeeding the death of Superman. The alleged ‘Suicide Squad’ are forced into a situation of life or death, with the prospects of shortening their sentence hanging in the balance. Intended as part of the recruitment, the possessed witch Enchantress is quick to revolt against the operatives and seek resurrection of her brother and assist her plot for domination. It’s then down to the band of bad guys to ultimately put a stop to the power-driven antagonist, collaborating together their mix of contrasting abilities

Following the highly anticipated release of DC superhero epic Suicide Squad, a primary bother that effected the overall enjoyment of the epic was the trailers. This, coupled with the previous example of DC’s former, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has stimulated enough issues that require a full discussion into what affect the trailers have on the final film.

Zach Snyder’s provides his second rendition into the superhero world in the form of his familiar Man of Steel encountering the Caped Crusader of Gotham in a rivalry of morals and justice. Citizens of Metropolis emerge conscious of the destruction Superman has brought to their city, and are now striving for protectorship they deserve against the evil of the world. Bruce Wayne shares the concerns of the city, after witnessing the effects of the Krypton originating alien from ground level view. Wayne is fastened with a vengeance to put an end to this reckless demolition, whist Clark Kent himself is becoming more aware of an additional threat in the form of the somewhat unhinged Lex Luthor. Vast plans unfold and the two heroes are forced into confrontation and subsequently required to unite against the perils Luthor provides to the duo.

Deadpool (2016)

Film Review

Currently involved  in mercenary pursuits, outspoken former Special Force Operative Wade Wilson lives a somewhat blissful state, meeting and falling for the enticing Vanessa, who shares a common sharp wit to the protagonist. Their dreams are subsequently altered severely after an unpredicted misfortune regarding Wade’s health, and the pair are met with demanding decisions to make. Ultimately deciding to singly sought out Ajax, a moderately disturbed and sadistic leader of rogue experiments, promising to cure Wade and provide him with new abilities beyond expectations. Contrary to foundational indications, Wade is pushed through torturous exploits, further resulting in a unnatural mutation, causing him to later possess accelerated healing capabilities. These new powers bear horrific downsides in the form of a disfigured appearance, forcing Wade to conceal himself away from what he loves most. Now, with the superhero persona of Deadpool, Wade seeks vengeance against Ajax, and the reunion with the one he loves.
